Sugarflair Gold Leaf Sheet
Add a touch of sparkle to your piece using real Gold Leaf. Use scissors to cut out the required shapes from the leaf whilst avoiding excessive finger contact with the gold leaf.
Brush the selected icing surface thinly with edible glue or confectioners glaze, covering an area slightly larger than that required for the gold leaf transfer.
Position the transfer accurately and gently press. Remember, it cannot be re-positioned after contact.
Leave for a minute and then peel off backing paper with tweezers using a slow upward movement.
Allow 24 hours to dry hard. Gold is permitted for the surface decorating of sugar confectionery and has the number of E175.
